Vertical Pontoon Lifts
Quality and Value
Vertical lifts are excellent in shallow water conditions and when the weight of the boat exceeds 4,000 pounds. In these applications, cantilever lifts lose their mechanical lifting advantage. Our vertical lifts are ideal for applications where the water level changes drastically and where maximum clearance is needed. Our direct vertical rise of 66 inches allows you to keep your boat high and dry without continually moving and adjusting your lift.
All of our vertical lifts are standard with non-corrosive stainless steel bolts, stainless cable, and brass nuts, giving you many years of service while maintaining a clean appearance. Thick aluminum sheaves are used to maximize cable life and to ensure lasting performance under heavy use. Our vertical lifts offer rigid diagonal V-bracing on both sides, giving uncompromised strength on demand when your boat is raised to maximum height. Our V-braced design also allows for non-restricted access to your boat from either side of the lift making it ideal for slip installations. Pier Pleasure’s vertical lift models are built to meet your high standards of quality, value, and performance.

Narrow Pontoon Lift
The best way to lift a pontoon
Hewitt’s narrow pontoon lifts easily raise and lower even the longest pontoon boats. Full-length beams are positioned between the pontoons, not beneath them. This design evenly distributes weight to the boat’s deck, eliminating any risk of damage to the pontoons. Narrow pontoon lifts are available in four standard sizes: 2000 lb – 20’ length, 2400 lb – 24’ length, 3000 lb – 28’ length and 4000 lb – 28’ length. These lifts are built to the same high standards of durability that are a trademark of all Hewitt lifts.
Features
Construction
Frames are all-aluminum for corrosion resistance and low maintenance. The lifting mechanism features acetal Delrin plastic pulleys and stainless steel cable. Pulleys and cable are completely free of the water in the lift’s “up” position. When fully raised, the weight of the boat is carried entirely on the frame, not on the cables. This eliminates unnecessary stress which further extends cable life.
Winches
A manual 12:1 self-braking winch with 40” wheel and spinner knob is standard on the Model 2000. Larger models include a Hewitt high-efficiency winch with fully enclosed chain drive and gear ratios of 15:1 or 20:1.
Optional Offset Winch Arm Offers additional flexibility and convenience for existing dock configurations. Allows the winch to be operated from the side rather than from the front. |
